Are you a Washington community college student?

Efforts are underway to coordinate all academic and extension programs at WSU with Washington's community colleges. For example, viticultural classes will be taught at Yakima Valley Community College and at WSU Tri-Cities, and will be delivered to participating schools over the Washington Higher Education Telecommunication System (WHETS). This coordination reduces duplication of efforts and more efficiently uses available resources.

Special agreements between Washington State University and Walla Walla Community College and Yakima Valley Community College allow students with an Associate in Science degree from these community colleges to transfer into the Viticulture and Enology option in Horticulture at WSU with junior standing. The agreements also establish the equivalence between courses at WSU and the community colleges.
