MULTIPLE PART-TIME POSITIONS
Terra Blanca Winery, Benton City, WA
We are looking for two people between the ages of 18-20 to help with the sale of food products that we have available, washing glasses, stocking wine, load outs, basically bar back support for the tasting room staff. The tasting room is very fast paced so we need people that are motivated, responsible, are able to speak to customers, can learn about how food pairs with wine, and have an interest in this industry.
We are also hiring for the tasting room. These people would need to be 21 or older. Again we are interested in people from the viticulture/enology programs so that they already have a background in wine, but will consider other applicants. These positions also include washing glasses, stocking wine, and the other tasks mentioned above, but they also include pouring wine for guests, sales, guiding tours, and working the banquets and weddings held at the facility. These people, in addition to being highly motivated, responsible, and interested in the industry, should be comfortable with public speaking for the tour positions and should ideally be able to learn about the wines quickly.
Both of these positions are seasonal. Our busy season is from about the end of May until the start of October. Applicants should expect 1-2 shifts per week, mostly on weekends, but there is a possibility for more shifts during the week depending on the number of new hires.
Potential applicants should send a resumé as soon as possible to banquet@terrablanca.com.
